The Flower Council of Holland is the worldwide marketing arm of the cut flower and houseplant industry of the Netherlands. The council promotes the sale of floricultural products - cut flowers, houseplants, annual garden plants and basic material for propagation on behalf of Dutch producers and wholesalers. This involves analysing markets, maintaining trade contacts at all levels and developing and executing marke�ting plans.

The flower council plays a major role in the international flower trade as the Dutch floriculture sector is engaged in flower trade in almost 30 countries. The Flower Council of Holland makes great use of emphasising trends in flowers and plants. This method links flowers with current lifestyle trends and also makes use of the changing seasons. These trend demonstrations are presented by top arrangers and designers.
The council also publishes consumer and trade magazines, notably the yearly magazine Facts and Figures and the quarterly magazine Holland Flower.
The Flower Council´s website also has separate links for florists and wholesalers from UK, USA and Germany, as well as a separate link for the horticultural press.and a means of getting in touch with suppliers.
The website also has a section on online shopping and a very interesting section for florists on how to use different colors in bouquets and arrangements and also fashion forecasts for the industry.
