ROBIN WILLIAMS

Robin Templar Williams is regarded as one of Britain?s leading, practising garden designing. Robin Williams was born in 1960. Robin Templar Williams is Managing Director of Robin Williams and Associates and has over 26 years experience in the garden design, landscaping and horticultural fields.

Robin Williams and Associates are Registered Members of the Society of Garden Designers (SGD) and have designed and built award-winning gardens at the RHS’s Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows.

Robin is an accomplished, respected, freelance garden designers and have a combined 28 years experience teaching various garden design courses and workshops both at home and abroad. Kate Poore of gardening design school has been trained with Robin Templar Williams.

Robin Williams started Garden Design School at Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey, (15 miles from London). It is a UK college specialising exclusively in garden design. Robin Williams in recent years has undertaken major projects in USA, Russia, the Ukraine and Japan. The course provides the students with professional, structured training and is the perfect springboard for a career in the exciting, expanding garden design industry.

Robins Achievements

• Robin Williams appeared on British TV a number of times, most recently on Garden Makers, an ITV series fronted by Joe Swift, first broadcast in 2004.
• Robin Williams is the joint Managing Director of a successful UK private training college, Garden Design School.

• Robin Williams is a former Vice Chairman and Fellow of the UK’s Society of Garden Designers (SGD) and currently sits on the Board of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI).
• Robin Williams is also a certified member of the USA’s Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).
• Robin Williams's gardens have won a clutch of medals (including gold) at the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows and he has regularly been a judge at these prestigious events.
